The data controller for personal data collected through this website is HelvetEye, based in Fribourg, Switzerland. For any data protection enquiry, please contact us at support@helveteye.ch.

02

Data We Collect

We collect only the data you voluntarily submit through the contact form:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Project type
  • Free-text message

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may also automatically collect technical data in server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security and diagnostic purposes only.

03

Purpose of Processing

Data submitted via the contact form is processed solely to respond to your enquiry or quote request, and where applicable, to establish a business relationship. No data is used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

04

Legal Basis

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 31(1)(a) nFADP), expressed by voluntarily submitting the contact form, and on HelvetEye's legitimate interest in responding to contact requests (Art. 31(1)(b) nFADP). For individuals in the European Union, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR.

05

Retention Period

Data submitted via the contact form is retained for up to 12 months from receipt, unless a business relationship is established, in which case data is retained for as long as necessary to perform and document that relationship. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

06

Data Location and Transfers

Emails generated by the contact form are processed via Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland), a Swiss email provider. Your data is not sold, rented or transferred to any third party. No data is transferred outside Switzerland without adequate safeguards.

07

Site Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, United States). Vercel may process certain technical data (IP addresses, logs) as part of its infrastructure service, subject to appropriate data protection measures in compliance with GDPR requirements and applicable Swiss law.

08

Cookies and Trackers

This website does not use non-essential cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics tools (no Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar). Fonts (Fraunces and Plus Jakarta Sans) are self-hosted via Next.js's next/font system: no requests are sent to Google Fonts or any third-party service when you visit. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be set by the hosting infrastructure (Vercel) for security and service operation purposes.
